Organizing Virtual Speakers via an LMS

Organizing Virtual Speakers via an LMS

Coggno Inc. | Jan, 20 2009

In designing an online training course for an LMS, try to use outside experts whenever appropriate. Refer to textbook authors, local and international writers and critics, other college and university instructors, and as many outside resources as you can to enrich your course material and student experience. Furthermore, outside sources are often happy to participate online with students via an LMS or a discussion board.

Guest speakers can be allowed guest access to post lectures, in audio or text format, and moderate discussion topics–all organized via an LMS. A guest’s email address or contact methods can provide students direct access for questions or comments. Virtual guests can enhance a discussion, lesson or activity and provide students with a special and memorable learning experience.
