Before creating an LMS-based course, it’s important to have an understanding of the different pedagogical perspectives that exist. 

Have you ever come up with a great idea for a story, but when you sat down to write it, you realized that you weren’t sure what form it should, or even could, take? Or say you wanted to cook, and you had pasta and some veggies—eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, onion—but had little experience with cooking, and found yourself at a loss for what exactly to do with the materials you  already had?

Knowing about the different pedagogical perspectives before you begin creating an LMS-hosted course will help you develop your content more consciously, and with greater understanding of the approach you’re already considering or that you want to adopt. It will help you confidently design an LMS course structure that works best for you and your learners.
